Increasing FPS

If you’re eager to enjoy the game with increased FPS, we’d like to suggest an interesting third-party solution.

1. Download and unpack this archive: Lossless_Scaling. (If you like, the program can also be purchased on Steam.)
2. After launching, you may see the message: Make sure you have installed the app through Steam.

To bypass this restriction, create a new file in Notepad with the following content:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\Apps\993090] "Installed"=dword:00000001

Give the file any name and save it with the .reg extension.



Open this file with a double-click and confirm the changes to the registry.

If you have a licensed version, this step can be skipped.

3. Launch the program. The error should disappear. Configure the settings as follows:



We are only interested in the Frame Generation section. Set the parameters as shown in the image (if they are not set by default). Other settings can be left unchanged or disabled.

4. Launch the Aeternis client (testing was conducted in windowed mode), then click Scale in the top right corner. After that, you’ll have 5 seconds to return to the Aeternis client window.



As a result, the in-game image will become smoother.
